| 2006 Cup Challenge Winners Announced |
James Burton is the Grand Prize Winner in the 2006 NSCAA Cup Challenge, earning trips to the 2006 MLS Cup in Dallas and the 2007 NSCAA Convention in Indianapolis. The complete list of winners and their prizes:
GRAND PRIZE: James Burton, Catlettsburg, Ky. Burton wins a trip for one person to the 2007 NSCAA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., including airfare, four nights lodging (Jan. 10-14, 2007) and free registration for the convention. and trip for two people to the 2006 MLS Cup in Dallas, Texas, including airfare, two nights hotel – double occupancy (Nov. 11-13, 2006), two tickets for the MLS Gala on Nov. 11, two tickets for the MLS Cup on Nov. 12 and ground transfers to and from the airport. Porrello wins a trip for one person to the 2007 US Youth Soccer Workshop and Coaches Convention in St. Louis, Mo., including airfare, up to three nights hotel (March 1-3, 2007) and free Workshop registration. SECOND PRIZE: Emad Tawedrose, Laurel, Md. Tawedrose wins a trip for one person to either the Men’s or Women’s College Cup in December, 2006 (choice of winner), including airfare, two nights lodging, tickets to the semi-finals and championship games, free registration for the NSCAA Special Topics Course and access to NSCAA hospitality areas at the games.
