| FSC to Broadcast Live Show from NSCAA Convention |
Fox Soccer Channel has announced it will telecast a live two-hour show from the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Coaches Convention on Thursday, Jan. 11. Airing from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (ET), the show titled “Center Circle at the NSCAA Convention” will focus on the future of U.S. soccer and will feature Major League Soccer (MLS) Commissioner Don Garber. Max Bretos will host the two-hour live program that will also feature guest panelists Christopher Sullivan, Christian Miles, and Fox Sports World Report’s Bobby McMahon; as well as Michelle Lissel, formerly of Fox Sports World Report and now with the newest MLS franchise, Toronto FC.
“Opening night of the Exhibit Hall at the NSCAA Convention is one of the biggest annual events in American soccer,“ said Louise Waxler, NSCAA President. “We are thrilled to have Fox Soccer Channel there to share the energy and excitement of that evening with its viewers.”
The 60th Annual NSCAA Coaches Convention, once again the site of the MLS SuperDraft, will begin on Jan. 10 and run through Jan. 14 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind. The theme for this year’s annual convention is “Setting the Pace,” and reflects the NSCAA's role as a leader in the sport of soccer, particularly in coaching education. The Exhibit Hall at the NSCAA Coaches Convention, the nation’s largest soccer-specific trade show, opens on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 7:00 p.m. ET., and offers soccer enthusiasts a preview of the latest soccer-related technology, equipment and services from more than 300 exhibitor companies.
