Lauren Cheney
F, So., UCLA, Indianapolis, Ind.
Cheney enjoyed a terrific weekend in the Bay Area, as she had a hand in all four Bruin goals during a pair of crucial conference wins over No. 2 Stanford and No. 19 Cal. Cheney, the conference scoring leader with 38 points (16g, 6a), scored UCLA’s first goal on a penalty kick in a 2-0 victory over Stanford on Friday evening. She also assisted on an insurance goal by Christina DiMartino in the 75th minute. Cheney was even more impressive against Cal on Sunday, scoring both UCLA goals in another 2-0 victory. She has tallied either a goal or an assist in 11 of 14 matches this season, owning the team lead in game-winning goals with five. With the two wins, UCLA moves into sole possession of first place in the conference standings as the only undefeated and untied team. The Bruins are seeking to become the first team conference history to win five straight league titles. UCLA is the No. 1 team in the latest NSCAA/adidas Coaches’ Poll.

Kevin Noschang

Noschang netted a goal and racked up two assists in IU’s 3-2 upset victory over No. 4 Notre Dame. The junior leads the team in goals with five scores on the season. Against Ohio State, the Cincinnati native placed two of his three shots on goal in a 0-0 double overtime tie.
