Trio Earns Third NCAA Division II Women's All-America Team

Three players earned their third recognition with the announcement of the 2008 NSCAA/adidas All-America Team for NCAA Division II women’s play.

Nicole Cito (Metro State/Littleton, Colo.), Gabriela Demoner (Franklin Pierce/Curitiba, Brazil) and Katy Tafler (Grand Valley State/Mississauga, Ontario) each picked up their third honor, with Cito claiming first-team recognition and Demoner and Tafler each scoring spots on the second team. Demoner was one of three Franklin Pierce players to be recognized; only Division II semifinalist College of Saint Rose was able to match that total on the 2008 squad.

Seven other schools placed two players on the team: NCAA finalist Seattle Pacific and North Carolina-Pembroke, Rollins College, Saint Leo University, Texas A&M-Commerce, Winona State and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
