2013 American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and All-Conference First Team… Has allowed just 15 goals in 20 matches this season, boasting a 0.69 goals against average… Recorded 10 shutouts this year… Ranks third all-time in UConn history with 36 career shutouts… Has the fourth most wins in program history (46)…  Named the Conference Goalkeeper of the Year in each of his first three years at UConn… Earned All-Conference First Team honors all three years… Was an NSCAA First Team All-American and the New England Soccer News Player of the Year as a sophomore… Tied the Connecticut school record with 15 shutouts in his freshman year and also set a record with nine straight shutouts that year… His 0.39 goals against average during his freshman season ranks third in school history… Has only lost nine matches in total and just two at home during his three years at UConn… Led Connecticut to the NCAA Quarterfinals in each of the past three seasons.

Bell had a phenomenal campaign, finishing among the nation’s best with his 13 goals and 30 points as the Panthers went 15-3-2 and advanced to the ninth NCAA Tournament in program history … team captain started all 20 matches on the season and led the league in points and goals and with 95 shots … 2013 Horizon League Player of the Year and Horizon League Offensive Player of the Year … ranks ninth in the nation in goals (13), 12th in goals-per-game (0.65), 13th in points (30) and 17th in points per game (1.5) … Bell was the first Panther since 2004 to score over 13 goals and tally over 30 points in a season  … a first-team all-league selection for the second-straight season … also excels in the classroom, honored last week as a First-Team Academic All-American … scored goals in five-straight games on two occasions over the course of the season, while also netting back-to-back game-winners at the end of October.

Caringi earned America East’s Striker of the Year Award for the second consecutive year… He is the first repeat Striker of the Year in the 12-year history of the award…  Caringi also earned America East Fans’ Choice Player of the Year honors for the second straight year… He had an outstanding post-season, scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist in UMBC’s 4-0 America East championship game victory over Hartford… Caringi scored the game-tying goal in the 77th minute in UMBC’s Second Round 2-2 double overtime draw versus U. Conn…He led America East with 13 goals and 29 total points… The Baltimore native finished his career with 37 goals (fourth on the all-time list) and 91 points (fifth all-time).
