All-America and All-Region Teams

Below are the criteria for All-America and All-Region Team selections at the Senior College and Junior College levels.  

Selection Criteria

Senior College Men and Women
An All-Region selection process is carried out by ballot at the end of the regular season. The All-America selections are based on the various levels of play that the school has selected for seasonal play (NCAA Division I, II or III; NAIA or NCCAA).

Junior College Men and Women
The initial step is the selection of All-Region teams. Post-game in-season voting and a team caliber index are used for this purpose. The All-America team is chosen from the top candidates in each of the regional programs (Divisions I and III).

Eligibility

Collegiate players in the following categories are eligible, provided their institutions are NSCAA College Services members.

  • All-America Awards
    • NCAA Division I, II and III men and women
    • NAIA men and women
    • NCCAA Divisions I and II men and women
    • Junior College Division I and III men and women
  • All-Region Awards
    • NCAA Division I, II and III men and women
    • NAIA men and women
    • Junior College Division I and III men and women

Nominations

The process for nominations and voting varies by award.  At this time, All-America Nominations and Voting, Scholar All-America and Assistant Coach of the Year are all managed by logging into your College Services account in myNSCAA and following the links to My Voting.  All other nominations can be submitted by filling out the corresponding PDFs on this page.
