Awards Eligibility

Collegiate Awards 

Eligibility for the NSCAA awards programs at the intercollegiate level is linked to the College Services program. In order to be eligible for the following NSCAA Awards, institutions must enroll in College Services.  These awards include:

  • All-Region Awards
  • All-America Awards
  • Scholar All-Region Awards
  • Scholar All-America Awards
  • Team Academic Award  
  • Team Ethics Awards
  • Coach of the Year
  • Missouri Athletic Club (M.A.C.) Hermann Trophy (NCAA Division I)
  • Players of the Year

Individual Awards

Eligibility for the NSCAA awards program at the individual level is linked to the Membership program. In order to be eligible for the following NSCAA Awards, individuals must be active NSCAA members in good standing with the Association.

  • Honor Award
  • Coach of the Year Award (High School, Youth)
  • Assistant Coach of the Year Award (College, High School, Youth)
  • Bill Jeffrey Award for Long-Term Collegiate Service
  • Robert W. "Robby" Robinson Award for Long-Term Scholastic Service
  • Charlotte Moran Award for Long-Term Youth Service
  • Women's Committee Award of Excellence
  • High School Player of the Year (Coach must be an active member for the player to be eligible)
  • Youth Player of the Year (Coach must be an active member for the player to be eligible)

The following three awards are open to anybody, but their nomination must come from an NSCAA member.

  • Jerry Yeagley Award for Exceptional Personal Achievement
  • Honorary All-America Award
  • Letters of Commendation and Certificates of Appreciation
