Team Academic Award
To qualify for the Team Academic Award, a team must have a minimum 3.0 team grade point average for the academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding the GPAs of each player on the roster each term, then dividing that total by the number of players. The average term GPAs (fall and spring for schools on a semester program; fall, winter and spring for those on quarters) then are added together and divided by the number of terms to determine the final average team GPA.
