Deb Raber
COACHING POSITION:
Head Women's Coach, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts
Deb Raber has taught many NSCAA coaching courses, serves on the NSCAA Goalkeeping Academy Coaching Staff, and on the NSCAA ethics committee. She has taught both the week-long and two-weekend National Diploma courses. Deb also regularly teaches Goalkeeping Courses and Junior Level V and VI courses.
Deb is the head women’s soccer coach at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Under her leadership she led the team to a 2010 regular season league title, the first since 1994. During the same season, her team set a program record with a 15-game unbeaten streak. She was also awarded MASCAC Coach of the Year honors in 2007 and 2009. In addition she was awarded a silver award from the NSCAA ethics committee in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2009.
Prior to coaching at MCLA, she coached softball at Springfield College in Springfield Massachusetts; and both softball and soccer at Castleton State college in Castleton, Vermont.
Deb received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. She was an Academic All-American and inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame in 2003. She also has a Masters of Education in Counseling and Psychological Services from Springfield College.
