The first step of any strength program is "to develop good exercise techniques using proper biomechanics before strength development." Technique should not be confused with biomechanics. Technique is a specific method by which a skill or exercise is performed. Biomechanics describes and analyzes the human body as a movement system governed by mechanical laws.
