Organization: 1 vs. 1 on a diagonal. Ball is played across the diagonal and a 1 vs. 1 occurs. Upon stealing the ball a player immediately attacks opposite corner. Coaching Points: In possession take a positive first touch, decide if you can shoot around the opponent or if you must take them on. Out of possession close quickly and try to dictate play through body shape and angle. If you turn the opponent away from goal remain close and do not let them turn back. Upon winning the ball look top counter quickly before the opponent gets set. Organization: 2 vs. 2 "Get Out of There". A high intensity activity in which the supply is constant coming from the coach. Players do not pursue a ball out of bounds. Upon the command of the coach players must tag out of the game and new players come in. This activity can be played with varying numbers in the field of play and permanent GKs too. Coaching Points: Be direct in possession. Communicate with teammate. Concentrate on the "new ball" being introduced. Sub in and out quickly to support maintaining possession.
