Organization: 2-4 players on one side of the rebounder. Both sides of rebounder may be used. Players can serve by hand or by kicking the ball at the rebounder. Receiver the ball and take away at a 90 degree angle and move to a cone 5-10 yards away under control. Coaching Points: Keep head still and get in to the line of flight of the ball. Identify a surface to control the ball on, foot, thigh, chest, head. Either take the ball away with the first touch, sweeping it or playing it out a t a 90 degree angle. Or take a close control touch and immediately carry the ball away at an angle. Coaching points Body positioning First touch Pace Progression points Increase pace of throw Play the ball to the rebounder Bottom line Mimics game situation of moving ball into space with speed on first touch
