The NSCAA is developing a pool of resources that bring top-flight coaching education experiences online. These either are original programs developed by NSCAA, such as the Coaching Fundamentals Series, or are available through partnerships with such organizations as the National Federation of High School Associations.
Online Course for High School Coaches
The NSCAA and the National Federation of High School Associations have teamed up to create an online course titled the Fundamentals of Coaching Soccer. This introductory course is perfect for high school and youth coaches who want to establish a solid foundation for their coaching knowledge. The interactive course features an engaging interface that incorporates audio, video and text to teach essential soccer coaching techniques and methods.

NCSS Sports Safety Course
Athlete safety and injury prevention are two very important aspects of your role as a coach, so the NSCAA has partnered with the National Center for Sports Safety. PREPARE is an online sports safety course that is aimed at educating coaches on how to prevent common injuries, how to recognize symptoms of potentially dangerous conditions, and how to respond in emergency situations. PREPARE provides participants with valuable information that is relevant both on and off the playing field. The course costs only $28 and can be completed at your own pace since it is online.

Tactical Soccer Situations Test aka "Quizzies"
In the spring of 1988, German coach T.K. Trapp administered a 30-question quiz that he had designed to a group of U.S. National Staff coaches. The objective of the test was to examine and make the correct tactical decisions in each of the diagrammed situations.
The NSCAA is now pleased to offer a portion of these "Quizzies" as an online resource for coaches and players to help develop their situational awareness and decision-making skills. Click here to access the quizzies.
