What is ContiWarmUp?
In motor racing the warm up lap is essential to bring all components and especially the tyres to the optimum temperature. A cold tyre simply cannot perform as well as a warm tyre.
For footballers, the same is true. Making tyres and engines perform at their best is a passion for Continental. But it is well known that we also have a passion for football.
So Continental has taken that step to encourage young footballers and coaches to warm up effectively with the ContiWarmUp programme to optimise their own performance levels and minimise the risk of injury.
Choose a WarmUp – the fastest way to get going
Players, coaches and football training routines differ. The four step selection process helps you choose the warm up session that best matches your team and your main activity, whether it is specific training or a match. Choose your players‘ age group in step 1, get your basic warm up routines in step 2, select the topic of your training session (e.g. dribbling) in step 3 and choose one of several sessions that fit your selection in step 4.
At the end of the four step process, you will be provided with an option to add some stretching exercises.
And don't forget, all good training sessions should end with a warm down.
