Diplomas, College Credits and Certificates
The NSCAA has made special arrangements for coaches to earn a handful of NSCAA Diplomas, a Professional Development Certificate (offered by NFHS and NSCAA), and college credit for their active participation. Details about each of these opportunities are below.
NSCAA Level 2 Diploma
|Designed to help coaches implement developmentally appropriate training games to improve skill levels in a fun, safe and challenging environment||Attend 4 of 4 Identified Sessions|
NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma
|The object is to empower the coach with knowledge and practice methods that will enable the coach to evaluate a goalkeeper in game situations and then design an appropriate practice program for goalkeepers in and outside of team practices.||Attend 4 of 4 Identified Sessions|
|NSCAA Special Topics Diploma: Mental/Physical Player Development||Focusing on the scientific aspects of player development to help coaches create a well rounded player||Attend Any 6 Identified Sessions|
|NSCAA Special Topics Diploma: Soccer Management and Development||Emphasis on managieral topics such as budgeting, fundraising, legal issues and more||Attend Any 6 Identified Sessions|
|NSCAA Special Topics Diploma: Club Development||Emphasis on topics such as Club Standards, Player Development, and Technical/Tactical sessions||Attend Any 6 Identified Sessions|
|NSCAA Special Topics Diploma: Future Coaches||Learning how to get your coaching career started on the right foot||Attend Any 6 Identified Sessions|
|NFHS/NSCAA Professional Development Certificate||Learn about a wide range of topics such as the psychological, technical, tactical, motivational and methodology of the game.||Attend Any 6 Identified Sessions|
U.S. Soccer CEU's
|CEU's will be an option this year for Convention attendees and those sessions will be identified in the coming weeks.||Identified Sessions|
As a registrant at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) convention, you are eligible to apply for University credit through the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
