José Mourinho Quick Facts:

  • José Mourinho’s managerial career can be traced back to a job with former England manager Bobby Robson in 1992. He served as Robson’s translator at Sporting Lisbon and then, after Robson was sacked a year later, followed him to Porto to continue translating.
  • Mourinho has managed six different clubs (Benfica, U.D. Leiria, Porto, Chelsea, Internazionale and Real Madrid) in four European countries (Portugal, England, Italy and Spain).
