Over the past several decades, the NSCAA has organized countless trips abroad with the highest standard of quality. We've established exclusive relationship with many world Football Associations including the English FA, the Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB Germany) and the Royal Netherlands Soccer Federation (KNVB, Holland) and have led trips to the FIFA World Cup, the FIFA Women's World Cup, the Algarve Cup, the European Championships and Champions League Finals.
Algarve Cup Trip
The Algarve Cup is an annual event featuring many of the world's top women's soccer teams. It was founded in 1994 and has become the third most prestigious competition in Women's soccer - The Women's World Cup and the Olympic Games are first and second. Each year, since 2007, the NSCAA Women's Committee has lead a group of coaches abroad for behind-the-scenes access to national team training sessions and international matches with former U.S. Women's National Team Head Coach April Heinrichs and renowned sports psychologist, Dr. Colleen Hacker.
2011 Women's World Cup Trip
The 2011 NSCAA Women’s World Cup Tour and Special Topics Course was held in Germany June 27 - July 8. This 11-day tour included all three opening round matches involving the U.S. Women’s National Team as well as a fourth match between Germany and France. It also included are coaching education sessions, meals, lodging and transportation while in Germany.
