2013 Summer Symposium - Orlando, August 1 - 3

The 2013 Summer Symposium marks the inaugural edition of this event. Modeled after the highly successful NSCAA Convention, the Summer Symposium will provide coaches with educational sessions, networking opportunities and a sense of belonging as an NSCAA member, aspects which are staples of the Association. Open to all members, the genesis of the event was the desire to provide an option for coaches that are unable to attend the Convention, and deliver awards to coaches and athletes following the winter and spring seasons.

Schedule and Presenters

 USSF CEU: "Training Activities to Develop Effective Transition", Ian Barker, NSCAA Director of Coaching Education

This action packed weekend will include 16 field demonstrations, 8 lecture/roundtable sessions put on by top coaching educators in the country. Spring and winter season athletes will be recognized at the All-America brunch. Socials, networking gatherings and a golf outing will also be part of the fun!

Travel and Housing


The Orlando World Center boasts 450,000 square feet of event space with 2,000 guest rooms and 10 restaurants and bars on-site. It is located only 18 miles from the Orlando airport, 2 miles from Walt Disney World, and has a championship golf course surrounded by one million gallons of pool water. It's a perfect place to come and learn, but also bring the family!

Exhibits

Exhibit Hall Grand Opening. 1/17/2013.

Situated next to the demonstration fields, the Exhibit Hall will feature the latest in soccer industry equipment, products and services. Activities on Thursday and Friday, including the opening social will be held in the exhibit hall. A limited number of exhibitor booths are available to interested companies.
