moulding the youth team

The most important part of a sussessful World Cup Winner team is their youth programme superiority.I happened to have grown up playing soccer.When I became 10 years old,my school time ends at 2 pm but I wont get home until after we couldnt see the soccer ball becauseit had gotten dark.Because I had an understanding parents;they decided to take me to a soccer academy where I can combine education & soccer more effectively.That move became the foundation that moulded me into the best playmaker that Nigerian football will ever see,winning 5 F A cups and several other trophies with RANGERS INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL CLUB OF ENUGU IN NIGERIA.That brings me to my concern which is the calibre of coaches assigned to this age grade in the initial moulding pattern of a World Class soccer player.I was witnessed the destruction of such player by an over enthsiastic Soccer Coach who even though the player had torn a muscle because of inadequate warm up preceeding the match;Coach still insisted & left him to continue to play with a torn muscle because this was his best 'striker' & he wanted to win at all cost.The injured happened to be my nephew & I had to weigh in by going to the athletic Director who was also watching & the injured player was immediately changed so that he can become a World Cup Winner.We must give the Youth Soccer programme a lot of attention in coaching selection because this is where the pattern for World Cup winners are moulded

I agree with what I understand to be your main point. We need to assign the right coaches to the right ages. We also need to put a lot more into the younger ages in terms of serious long term development.
Good coach selection of the coaches of our younger players is essential.
