Community service-soccer ball drive-project 1,000
I appreciate your attention to this. My high school girls and college women both take part in this event.
We recognize that childhood inactivity is a problem and we want to take action.
Each holiday my girls teams raise money to purchase 1,000 soccer balls to give to kids during the holidays for free. We are motivated by the idea that in our community some kids don't receive holiday gifts and we hope the gift of a soccer ball encourages kids to play and promote an active lifestyle.
It is my wish that we can spread this idea across the country and see how many communities we can help.
I appreciate your thoughts.
