Grants are funded using unrestricted funds, general endowment funds, and numerous named endowment funds including:

Beginning in September of each year, the NSCAA Foundation conducts a grant application process and announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) from nonprofit 501(c)(3) soccer organizations, clubs and programs serving underserved groups and communities. Grants underwrite all the costs for an organization to host an NSCAA Coaching Academy nonresidential diploma course and clinic at its own facilities for all its volunteer coaches, parent coaches, and youth players at no expense to the organization or the attendees.

During the November open period, the NSCAA Foundation invites nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations to submit an application for a grant from the Foundation. Applications may ONLY be submitted until October 31, 2013.
