Men's and Women's Assistant Coach, Bloomsburg University

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach (AA#07-1-493) who possesses the coaching expertise and organizational skills necessary to work in a successful NCAA Division II Athletics program. 

This is a full-time, 12 month, non-teaching position which requires assisting in the organization and supervision of all aspects of a competitive soccer program, including, but not limited to:  recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success and the ability to relate to those student-athletes; compliance with NCAA, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and Bloomsburg University’s rules and regulation; practice planning; strength and conditioning; fundraising and community engagement; camps and clinics; goalkeeping experience; and other duties as assigned by the head soccer coaches.

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree is preferred.  Applicants must have a minimum of one (1) year of successful college soccer coaching experience or equivalent.  Applicants must possess effective communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.  Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.  Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete an on-campus interview process.

Summer Coaching Position, Camp Greylock, Becket, Mass.

Camp Greylock,  a residential sports camp in Becket, Mass., seeks an assistant soccer department head.  Dates of camp are June 18-Aug. 10, with some flexibility at the end for your fall coaching schedules.  We seek a fun, upbeat, dynamic college coach to teach skills to campers ages 8-10 and manage a staff of eight.  Room, board, laundry, and possible professional housing.  Position pays in the $750/week range, dependent upon experience. Director of Recreation Program, Iowa Rush Soccer Club

Iowa Rush Soccer Club is looking for a full-time Director of Recreation to manage, coach, and administer its large recreation program for U5-U18 players.  Iowa Rush is located in central Iowa in Ankeny, a suburb near Des Moines that caters to over 1,000 players ages U5-U18.  The club seeks a USSF licensed, progressive, passionate, dynamic self-starter who can coach and mentor young players as well as parent-volunteers and coaches.

Director of Coaching and Soccer Operations, Carmel (Ind.) United Soccer Club

Carmel United Soccer Club, based in Carmel, Ind., seeks a Director of Coaching & Soccer Operations. This position provides oversight to day-to-day soccer operations for our highly competitive Carmel United Soccer Club travel program and teams playing under our Indiana United Soccer Club and Indiana Fire Academy (USSF Development Academy) banners.  Duties include developing and managing a coaching structure for the Club, supervising player training and player development curriculum implementation and delivery and ownership of the Club’s mission to develop every player to its fullest potential.

The candidate will possess 10+ years of Soccer Club or Soccer Association management, an “A” national coaching license and the highest level NSCAA diploma strongly preferred, business experience a significant plus.  Other qualifying background experience would include college level coaching experience, higher education positions or leadership of not-for-profit entities.  Strong “brand recognition” among the local, regional and national soccer community is considered a must.  A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is a significant plus, and the candidate must pass a background check.

NSCAA Site Coordinator (Part-time, Commission based only)

  • Work with NSCAA State Director and Education Department staff in NSCAA National Office to find suitable site and dates for a course
  • Once course is scheduled, provide administrator in the national office with information necessary for information form to be posted on the NSCAA website
  • Become familiar with the details of the schedule for the course(s) and apprise the National Office of any possible concerns or conflicts with that schedule
  • Recommend hotel accommodations for staff to the National Office (if needed)
  • Handle registration for the course on site on the first day of the course
  • Receive course materials from the national office; box and return gear to national office at close of course using FedEx forms provided
