Comedian, former soccer player Jon Stewart attracted record numbers
Fueled by the presence of Honorary All-America Jon Stewart, the 2006 NSCAA/adidas All-America Luncheon attracted more than 1,600 people to the Grand Ballroom of the Philadelphia Convention Center Saturday afternoon, establishing an attendance record for the event.
Stewart proved to be a gracious honoree, making himself available for several media opportunities (including an interview with Fox Soccer Channel's Allen Hopkins, as shown to the right). In comments on accepting his award, Stewart entertained the audience with his unique brand of humor, laced with self-deprecating comments about his collegiate soccer career at the College of William and Mary. He then greeted a total of 450 NSCAA/adidas All-Americas who came to Philadelphia to be recognized for their accomplishments.
The event capped a record-setting Convention. More than 7,500 total attendees flowed through the Pennsylvania Convention Center, including some 2,100 exhibitors filling a sold-out exhibit hall. The event was packed with highlights, from coaching education sessions by some of the world's top soccer minds to the MLS SuperDraft and the unveiling of the league's new game uniforms by adidas.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
