Two players earn second NSCAA honor for 2005; California has six on squad
Led by the selection of three players from Columbia City High School, the State of Indiana placed four players among the 35 selected to the 2005 NSCAA/adidas Girls High School All-America Team.
Earning the honors for Columbia City and its coach, Bill Duffy, were defenders Sherri Hoppe and Stephanie Smith and forward Kendra Reimer. Located 20 miles west of Fort Wayne in northeast Indiana, the school has an enrollment of 1,154. The fourth Hoosier to receive the honor is the lone goalkeeper on the team, Beth Reed of Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis.
Two players earned their second NSCAA award for 2005. Midfielders Katherine Moffett of McKinney (Texas) North High School and Nicole Sady-Kennedy of St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., both previously were named to the 2005 NSCAA/adidas Girls’ High School All-America Team. Sady-Kennedy was one of six players from California to earn a spot on the team, the most of any state. Maryland and Ohio each had three players chosen, while Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, New York, Tennessee and Texas had two each.
To be selected to the team, players must be seniors who have a minimum 3.75 cumulative grade point average and have exhibited excellence in high school soccer. The committee evaluates the players’ academic and athletic information as well as involvement with their communities. The honorees will be invited to the NSCAA All-America Luncheon, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, as part of the 2006 NSCAA Convention in Philadelphia, Pa.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
