Writing for two separate media outlets, veteran soccer journalist Michael Lewis has claimed two awards in the 2006 NSCAA Writing Contest. Awards also went to Soccer America’s Mike Woitalla, Maria Burns of ESPN.com and Michael Sanserino of the Indiana (University) Daily Student.
Lewis claimed awards in both the Deadline/Game Story and Non-Deadline/Feature categories. His three stories covering the breaking news of the purchase of the New York Red Bulls for BigAppleSoccer.com earned the Deadline honors, while his article “Football Player and Pastor” for FIFA Magazine was the winner in the Feature category.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
