Ten players have earned their second selection to the NSCAA/adidas Girls High School All-America Team with the announcement of the 2006 squad. Of the 78 players chosen, only 61 were seniors, with 15 juniors and two sophomores named to the team.

One of the underclassmen, junior forward Tiffany McCarty of St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C., earned the award for the second consecutive year. The remaining nine repeaters all are seniors: midfielders Hannah Cerrone (Roy C. Ketcham HS/Wappingers Falls, N.Y.), Bianca D’Agostino (Loomis Chaffee HS/Windsor, Conn.), Kate Macauley (Wilton HS/Wilton, Conn.), Jessica Rothenheber (Central Bucks West HS/Doylestown, Pa.), Brianna Schooley (Douglas HS/Parkland, Fla.) and Shelley Wong (Norfolk Academy/Norfolk, Va.) and forwards Amy Caldwell (Braintree HS/Braintree, Mass.), Rachel Givan (Ridgeland HS/Ridgeland, Miss.) and Kelly O’Hara (Starr’s Mill HS/Peachtree City, Ga.).

The honorees were invited to the NSCAA All-America Luncheon, which was held on Saturday, Jan. 13, as part of the 2007 NSCAA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind.
