Scholarships Available to Minority Women for NSCAA Courses
Posted by NSCAA on Mar 20, 2007 in Education 0 Comments
The NSCAA is awarding 10 $1,000 scholarships for female minority coaches to attend a 2007 NSCAA Advanced National or National Diploma Course. This is being made possible by a $5,000 grant as part of the NCAA Minority Women Coaches Program. This grant has been matched by the NSCAA.
The NSCAA will select 10 recipients based on the applications. Priority will be given to Latina and African-American coaches. For those involved in the NSCAA Black Soccer Coaches Committee or the NSCAA Latin American Soccer Coaches Committee, recommendations from the leadership of those committees is recommended.
The $1,000 grant will be utilized to offset the course registration fee - covering instruction, meals and lodging - with a small amount left over to assist with travel expenses.
A brief description of how the grant would assist the applicant's professional development should be included with the application.
Application deadline will be announced shortly, so we encourage you to apply at your earliest convenience.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
