First NSCAA College Match of the Week Thursday

The 2007 edition of the NSCAA College Match of the Week on Fox Soccer Channel kicks off Thursday (Sept. 6) as Penn State travels to Storrs, Conn., to face Connecticut in a women's showdown. Kickoff is slated for 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on America's soccer network. This is the first of eight women's matches, aired weekly on Thursdays through Oct 25.

Penn State, currently ranked No. 15 in the latest NSCAA/adidas® Top-25 poll, sports a 1-1-0 record. Connecticut is the 17th-ranked team in this week's national ranking and has a 1-1-0.  The game will feature three players named to the 2007 Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Watch List in Nittany Lions' midfielder Sheree Gray and Huskies' midfielder Meghan Schnur and defender Brittany Taylor.
