Nick Blevins, a senior midfielder from Bloom-Carroll High School in Lancaster, Ohio, has been named the 2007 NSCAA/adidas Boys High School Scholar Athlete of the Year and leads the 35 players named to the 2007 NSCAA/adidas Boys High School Scholar All-America Team.

Blevins is the eighth player to be named the NSCAA/adidas Boys High School Scholar Athlete of the Year. His 110 career assists are an Ohio state record, making him only the second player in state history to record 100 career goals and 100 career assists. As a senior, he posted 35 goals and 24 assists for 94 points, more than double his next closest teammate. He scored 11 goals during a stretch of four games in five days in early October. A two-time All-Mid State League selection, he will attend Indiana University next fall.
