Rob Kehoe, a noted leadership and teambuilding consultant who has worked with nearly 60 Division I soccer teams, has been named Division I Intercollegiate Programs Director by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

“We welcome Rob Kehoe as the newest member of the NSCAA staff,” said NSCAA President Al Albert, former men’s coach at the College of William and Mary. “His experience working with Division I coaches over the years and his passion for the game make him an excellent fit for this position. We are excited to have him working full-time to promote Division I intercollegiate soccer.”

In his new role, Kehoe is charged with the mission of raising the visibility of men’s and women’s Division I intercollegiate soccer. He will serve as a liaison between the NSCAA and various constituent groups, including the NCAA, Division I men’s and women’s coaches and the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association. Additionally, he will help promote Division I soccer events such as the College Cups and seek to raise overall visibility through initiatives such as expanded television coverage. Kehoe will serve as the primary liaison to execute the Association’s 20-game television package with Fox Soccer Channel.

"I'm pleased to join the staff of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America,” said Kehoe. “Having been involved with Division I programs for the past 20 years, I look forward to now working with the NSCAA to assist in growing the game on behalf of the players, coaches, member schools and college soccer fans."

In 1987 Kehoe founded Robert Kehoe and Associates, an independent training and performance coaching service for business, education and athletic groups. Since then he has conducted more than 50 leadership, strategic planning and team building seminars annually, including team interaction with almost all NCAA Division I men’s and women’s sports. His corporate clients included Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, JC Penney Co., Scott Worldwide Food Service, International Health Services and Vista International.

Kehoe holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Dayton. He and his wife Michelle have five sons and reside in Johnson Creek, Wis.
