Jessica Price (Florida State/Libertyville, Ill.) and Andrew Bulls (UMBC, Millersville, Md.) both had prolific offensive efforts last week to claim NSCAA National Player of the Week honors for Sept. 9.

Price tallied six points on two goals and as many assists to help the Seminoles to a pair of home victories, including a 2-1 win over No. 10 Penn State. Bulls racked up 14 points (five goals, four assists) to help Maryland-Baltimore County to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2004, including a 3-1 win over Virginia Tech.

Each week, a male and female player will be selected by a committee from a nomination pool comprised of players of the week from each NCAA Division I soccer conference. The players will be announced each Wednesday afternoon from now until Nov. 11 through NSCAA.com, the official website of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. They also will be recognized at halftime of the NSCAA College Game of the Week on Fox Soccer Channel, a schedule of 20 men’s and women’s intercollegiate matches. This week the cameras travel to the West Coast for a men’s match as Rutgers (2-1) makes the cross-country trek to face No. 6 UC Santa Barbara (3-0). Kickoff is scheduled for 11 p.m. ET.
