A pair of men's interregional matchups are featured on this week's installment of the NSCAA College Game of the Week on Fox Soccer Channel.
Rutgers (2-1-0) travels to Santa Barbara, Calif., on Friday (Sept. 11) for a clash with the No. 6-ranked Gauchos of UC Santa Barbara (3-0-0) in the first contest on America’s Soccer Network. Kickoff for the game at Meredith Field at Harden Stadium is set for 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT.
The Scarlet Knights have wins over Towson and Saint Peter's, with their loss coming against Stanford. The Gauchos earned victories versus West Virginia and Pittsburgh. The two teams met for the first time last season, a 3-2 home victory for Rutgers.
The doubleheader concludes on Sunday (Sept. 13) as the Flames of the University of Illinois-Chicago (0-1-1) head to Louisville, Ky., to face the 13th-ranked Cardinals of the University of Louisville (2-0-0). The match at Cardinal Park Soccer Stadium gets underway at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.
UIC is coming off a scoreless draw with Michigan after opening the season with a 1-0 loss to UAB. Senior goalkeeper Jovan Bubonja, a 2009 Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Watch List player, picked up his first shutout of the season versus Michigan. The Cardinals have posted consecutive shutouts to open the campaign, a 3-0 blanking of Bowling Green and a 2-0 whitewash of IUPUI. Senior midfielder Freddie Braun scored a goal in each contest and leads the team in scoring with seven points.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
