Neutzling Claims Second Junior College Player of the Year Award

Kaylee Neutzling (Lewis and Clark Community College/Edwardsville, Ill.), who has become only the third player to earn back-to-back NSCAA honors, leads a group of four players who have been name NSCAA Junior College National Players of the Year.
Neutzling, who received the award for women's junior college Division I play, joins two other junior college players to receive the award in consecutive years. The first was Ricky Quest of Herkimer County Community College, who won the award in 2000 and 2001, while the first women's player to achieve the feat was Melissa Hornfeck of Monroe Community College, who took the award in 2004 and 2005.
Joining Neutzling were Edward Campbell (San Jacinto College-South/Montego Bay, Jamaica) at the Division I level and Luis Gonzalez (Cerritos College/Long Beach, Calif.) and Leslie Bryant (Santiago Canyon College/Irvine, Calif.) at the Division III level.
All National Players of the Year will be recognized at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held in Philadelphia, Pa., on Saturday, Jan. 16, as part of the 2010 NSCAA Convention.
Junior College Division I
Men
Edward Campbell, M, So., San Jacinto College-South, Montego Bay, Jamaica
Campbell tallied 18 points on six goals and six assists, leading the team in goals scored this season. He scored the team’s lone goal in the Region XIV championship game against Tyler Junior College and closes his career with 11 goals and 11 assists.
Women
Kaylee Neutzling, F, So., Lewis and Clark Community College, Edwardsville, Ill.
Neutzling earns her second NSCAA Player of the Year award after scoring 46 goals and logging 99 points while leading Lewis and Clark to its second consecutive NJCAA national championship tournament, where they finished fourth. She closes her career at Lewis and Clark with 85 goals and 24 assists for 194 points.
Junior College Division III
Men
Luis Gonzalez, F, Sr., Cerritos College, Long Beach, Calif.
Gonzalez tallied 72 points on 27 goals and 18 assists, leading the team in all three categories. He became the first Cerritos men’s player to earn California Community College Athletic Association Male Athlete of the Month with an October than included a four-goal game, three other multiple-goal games and a pair of multiple-assist games. He concludes his career with 51 goals and 35 assists, a total of 137 points.
Women
Leslie Bryant, D, So., Santiago Canyon College, Irvine, Calif.
Bryant was instrumental in the team’s march to a 23-0-2 record, the state title and a No. 1 ranking in the final NSCAA national pool. She scored six goals, five of them game-winners, and was voted Orange Empire Conference Most Valuable Player for the second time. As a freshman, she had seven goals and 10 assists.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
