The Atlantic Coast Conference, with a total of eight selections, is the league with the most representatives among the list of 45 female athletes named to the Missouri Athletic Club’s Hermann Trophy Watch List for the 2010 season.
The MAC Hermann Trophy is the highest individual award in intercollegiate soccer. The recipients are selected by NCAA Division I coaches who are members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Boston College, ranked No. 7 in the NSCAA national pre-season poll, led the charge for the ACC with three selections: Victoria DiMartino (Massapequa Park, N.Y.), Jillian Mastroianni (Durham, Conn.) and Kristen Mewis (Hanson, Mass.). Reigning national champion and pre-season No. 1 North Carolina and No. 6 Florida State each had two players named to the list.
With seven selections, the Pac-10 Conference isn’t far behind the ACC. Stanford, which checked in at No. 2, and No. 3 UCLA each had three players named. Five teams had three players recognized: Joining Boston College, Stanford and UCLA are Notre Dame and Portland.
A total of 30 different schools and four countries are represented on the list, including players from the United States, Canada, Germany and Jamaica.
Voting for the MAC Hermann Trophy is conducted in late November, when a field of 15 semifinalists is reduced to three finalists. Those three will be invited to the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, where a news conference will be held to announce the winner, followed by a banquet to honor the three finalists.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
