NSCAA Adopts Single Domestic Fee Structure for 2010-11 Memberships, Renewals Now Open

The NSCAA Executive Committee approved a consolidation of its domestic membership dues into a single category at its spring meeting in Kansas City. Effective Sept. 1, 2010, dues for individual members will be $75 per year regardless of what level of the game the member lists as his/her primary coaching responsibility.
“The Association has been through a transition of benefits and services for the individual member over the past few years, and it became clear that there was no real need for separate dues categories,” said NSCAA CEO and Executive Director Joe Cummings. “Quite frankly, some of the reasons for the separate categories were dated and more historic in nature than anything else.”
Under the new structure, all coaches in the United States and Canada, including youth, club, high school, college, professional and adult amateur, will have the same dues of $75 annually. For high school and college coaches, this represents a $20 reduction in the annual fee.
“It became increasing evident to us that the NSCAA needed to represent the same thing to all coaches, regardless of the level of the game,” said Cummings. “Although there were some short-term fiscal concerns associated with the decision, our increased ability to support Association programs through revenue areas other than dues made this an obvious decision.”
Individual dues for international members in Europe will continue to be $115 per year, while the annual fee for foreign coaches outside of Europe will remain at $125. College programs continue to pay an annual College Services fee to underwrite specific programs and services for intercollegiate soccer, including team awards, rankings, media, legislative services and two full-time employees in the NSCAA national office dedicated to college soccer.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
