Nathaniel Baako (William & Mary/Accra, Ghana) has been recognized for his accomplishments in the classroom and on the field by being named the 2010 Men’s Collegiate Scholar Athlete of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). He also is one of 43 players named to the 2010 NSCAA Men’s College Scholar All-America Team
A finance major with a concentration in accounting, Baako also was chosen to the NSCAA Scholar All-America Team in 2009. He has received the Colonial Athletic Association’s Commissioner’s Academic Award three times and made the CoSIDA Academic All-District second team in 2008. On the field, he closed a spectacular career for the Green and Gold with a stellar 2010 season, starting all 22 matches, scoring four goals and tying for the team lead with six assists. His 14 points tied for third-best on the Tribe, which won the seventh CAA title in program history and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
Regis University had the most representatives on the Scholar All-America Team, placing four players on the College Division (non-NCAA Division I) squad. XX other schools had two players each: Drake, La Salle and Notre Dame on the University Division squad and Williams College on the College Division.
The scholar-athletes will be honored at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held at the Hilton Baltimore Hotel on Saturday, Jan. 15, as part of the 2011 NSCAA Convention.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
