NSCAA Convention City Offers High-Voltage Entertainment

If the 36 field sessions, 40 lectures and more than 300 exhibitors are not enough to feed your soccer fix at the 2012 NSCAA Convention, take a walk down the street to the Power & Light District to continue the fun in Kansas City.
Downtown Kansas City, Mo. took on a lively new feel when the entertainment district was launched in 2007. The Power & Light District features more than 50 unique and creative restaurants, bars, shops and nightclubs in a nine-block area.
Inspired by its location near the former Kansas City Power and Light Company headquarters, the name “Power & Light” conjures the concepts of high power and high energy, with a perfect description of the district. KC Live! is two levels of 14 vivacious spots connected by one main stage and large screen. Most places in the district are open until 3 a.m., but be sure to check with the venue.
Although the historic Hilton President Kansas City is the only hotel located in the Power & Light District, do not worry, all the hotels, with the exception of the Sheraton Crown Center and Westin Crown Center are all within walking distance of the P&L and Convention Center.

Most nights at the NSCAA Convention are filled with activities, such as the Exhibit Hall Grand Opening on Thursday night, Awards Banquet on Friday night, Missouri Comets Retro Game at the Sprint Center Saturday evening and the Walt Chyzowych 4-A-Side Tournament on Saturday night.
Whether it is choosing from more than 225 beers from over 15 countries at the Flying Saucer or trying to pick up a 7-10 split at Lucky Strike bowling alley, downtown Kansas City is nothing short of high-voltage entertainment to keep the party going all day.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
