The NSCAA will be in a “New York state of mind” in the spring and summer of 2012, as we have scheduled two-weekend National Diploma courses in the Buffalo area and on Long Island.  The first of those two courses will be held in Clarence on the weekends of May 4-6 and 11-13. (.pdf)  The second of the two will be held in Hicksville on the weekends of July 13-15 and 20-22. (.pdf)  The Hicksville site will also play host on those same weekends to an Advanced National Diploma course.

Two-weekend National and Advanced National Diploma courses contain identical curriculum as their residential counterparts, but are taught over two long weekends for those who cannot devote a full week, or undertake travel, to residential versions of the courses.  Coaches who take a National or Advanced National Diploma in this format have the advantage of practicing their assigned teaching topics with their own teams during the days in between the two weekends if they so desire, and they also have the opportunity to rest their muscles from the physical exertion of the first weekend.

Enrollment in the two-weekend courses is limited to 26 coaches in the National Diploma and 30 in the Advanced National Diploma.  With that in mind, coaches are encouraged to get their registrations in as early as possible to insure a place on the course roster.

What if the New York options don’t work for you?  We have a full slate of National and Advanced National Diploma courses all around the country in 2012.   We’ll look forward to seeing you on one of these courses in the very near future!
