This is an exciting opportunity for the NSCAA to work more closely with a US Youth Soccer association. My hope is some real shared benefit emerges from this relationship.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America is proud to announce the addition of Alaska Youth Soccer to its Member Club program making them the first state association to join the program.
Alaska Youth Soccer is dedicated to developing youth soccer in the State of Alaska to its maximum potential. A statewide organization, AYSA’s mission is “to provide leadership, administrate state level programs, educate our members and the public about the game of soccer, and coordinate youth soccer in the State of Alaska” in order to accomplish their objectives. Included in these objectives is increasing the number of youth soccer players in Alaska and improving the quality of coaches and playing facilities in the state. Alaska Youth Soccer is a member state of US Youth Soccer.
“We are excited to announce Alaska Youth Soccer as our newest Member Club,” said NSCAA President Ralph Polson. “Their dedication to improving soccer combined with NSCAA resources will immediately impact their success in working towards their mission and open up opportunities for the growth of NSCAA Membership and Educational courses in Alaska.”
By joining as a Member Club, AYSA will receive exclusive benefits from NSCAA. Among them are the opportunity for AYSA coaches to join NSCAA at a discounted rate and receive full membership benefits, access to group discount rates for the NSCAA Convention, a subscription to Soccer Journal and more discounts and amenities. Member Club also provides organizations with the opportunity to leverage the relationship in order to hire better coaches and provide continuing coaching education through discounted NSCAA courses, services and benefits.
“Alaska Youth Soccer is proud to be a partner with NSCAA,” said AYSA Executive Director Kay Jones. “As part of our mission statement, Alaska Youth Soccer believes it is vital to offer coaches a variety of education and information to encourage and support the growth of our coaches. Our partnership with NSCAA will help achieve our goal of continuous growth and success for all our coaches and ultimately our players.”

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
