Green Hope and Lambert hold the nation's top spots after posting spotless 22 and 21 win records

Girls
Green Hope High School in Cary, N.C. held onto the top spot for the fourth week in a row in the spring high school national rankings. The Falcons won another six straight to bring their overall record to a perfect 22-0-0. Jenks High School of Oklahoma jumped up again in the rankings, gaining two spots to come in at No. 2. The team posted two shutouts and a win on the road, all conference games, to keep an undefeated 15-0-0 record. Fayetteville, Ga.’s Whitewater High School held on to its No. 3 spot for the third week in a row by completing a five game win streak on their way to the conference tournament. Their sole tie in late March remains the only blemish, and only goal scored against them, this season.
St. Mary’s of Stockton, Calif. jumped up one spot to No. 4 after the Rams outscored their opponents 31-1 in their finals four games of the season. They approach the postseason boasting a 27-1-0 record. Loyola Academy of Wilmette, Ill. made another big leap in the rankings, coming from unranked to No. 14 and finishing at No. 5 in this week’s rankings with a 21-0-1 record. The Ramblers defeated St. Ignatius, 3-1, in the conference championship to win their fourth consecutive title and seven of the last nine conference titles. Cumberland Valley High School of Mechanicsburg, Pa. also made big moves in the rankings by coming in at No. 6. with a 18-2-0 record. The 2011 defending state champions captured their second straight Mid-Penn Championship with a 4-0 victory over Mechanicsburg. Olathe East High School of Olathe, Kan. won their last six games straight to remain at a perfect 16-0-0 as they enter the postseason ranked No. 7 in the nation. Cosby High School of Richmond, Va. outscored opponents 36-3 in the last five games to remain in the top ten at No. 8 with a 14-0-0 record. Cedarburg High School of Cedarburg, Wis. arrives at No. 9 in the polls after being unranked for the majority of the season. They sport a 9-0-1 record. Finally, Milton High School of Milton, Ga. rounds out the top ten by returning to the rankings with a 20-1-0 record, proving their late March loss would be the only of the season.

Boys
Lambert High School of Suwanee, Ga. finds itself at the top of the polls with a perfect 21-0-0 record. The Longhorns recently avenged last year’s season-ending loss to McIntosh with a 3-0 win to advance to the semi-state for the first time in school history. Norman North High School of Norman, Okla. jumped up 10 spots to No. 2, outscoring their opponents 45-3 thus far. They also sport an undefeated record at 17-0-0. The No. 3 spot belongs to previously unranked Mills Godwin High School of Richmond, Va. as they approach the postseason with a clean 12-0-0 record that includes ten shutout wins, five of them in the last four weeks alone.
Grand Island High School in Nebraska (18-0-0) holds the No. 4 spot, a seven spot jump from No. 11. The Islanders advanced past the first round of the playoffs with a 5-1 win over the Burke Bulldogs. Auburn High School of Auburn, Ala. rose five spots to sit at No. 5 in the national rankings after a trip to the state final. The team lost to Oak Mountain, 1-0, in the final to finish the season with a 26-1-1 record. The No. 6 spot belongs to the previous No. 3 Snohomish High School, who sports a 17-0-1 record. The District I Champions continue into the postseason with a 17-0-1 record. Previously unranked Thomas Dale High School of Chester, Va. enters the polls at No. 7 with a nearly spotless 11-0-1 record. Wando High School of Mount Pleasant, S.C. was also unranked before entering this week’s poll at No. 8. after winning 14 of their last 15 games to bring their record to 26-3-0. Creighton Prep of Omaha, Neb. comes in at No. 9. The defending state champions compete this postseason with a 19-1-0 record. Rounding out the top ten is Centennial High School of Roswell, Ga. The Knights defeated Mills Creek, 3-0, to reach the semi state. They boast a 19-1-1 overall record.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
