NSCAA Announces NorCal as an Official Education Partner

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) is pleased to announce NorCal Premier Soccer League as an Official Education Partner. NorCal is an established US Club Soccer premier league focused on the development of advanced skills for youth soccer players in the northern California area. Effective immediately, the partnership will aid in bringing NSCAA Coaching Academy courses to the coaches and teams involved in NorCal.
As part of the partnership, NSCAA and NorCal will work together to promote NSCAA Non-Residential courses in Northern California with a goal of hosting five NSCAA courses in each of the eight NorCal regions during each year of the partnership. In recognition of NorCal’s commitment to NSCAA and coaching education, NSCAA will provide NorCal with additional educational and membership discounts and benefits.
“The Northern California area is an excellent soccer community and the NSCAA is excited to bring its coaching education to such an elite soccer environment,” said current NSCAA president Ralph Polson. “With the advanced players involved in NorCal’s premier league combined with the resources provided by the NSCAA, soccer in this area will set a standard for other leagues around the country. We are excited to see the outcome.”
Furthermore, each attendee at a NSCAA Non-Residential Course that has not been an NSCAA member in the past will receive a one year introductory membership in the NSCAA. NorCal clubs and coaches will also receive NSCAA membership discounts.
"We [Norcal Premier] are creating collaboration between our clubs in each region to provide NSCAA coaching education opportunities,” said NorCal Premier Board Member Glen Van Straatum. “We have set targets of five courses for each region for non-residential courses so there are plenty of dates and options for our collective pool of coaches to pick from. Norcal Premier covers eight regions within its league with over 2,500 teams and coaches. Each region supports the hosting clubs with part of the cost of the fields and class resources. If all regions do their part, it will create a new collaborative educational model for all of our clubs and coaches to benefit from."

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
