The first National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) High School college showcase is quickly approaching! NSCAA, Indiana Champions League and Elite Tournaments will be hosting the 2012 NSCAA High School Summer Showcase at the Lawrence Soccer Complex in Lawrence, Ind. July 21-22.

The NSCAA College Showcase Series is a nationwide series of college showcase events designed to provide maximum exposure of players throughout the course of the tournament. One of nine NSCAA Showcases across the country, attending teams at the 2012 NSCAA High School Summer Showcase in Indiana will receive sustained exposure to top NCAA and NAIA programs, as well as a one-year NSCAA membership for each team entered. At the same time, college coaches can take advantage of recruiting and continuing education opportunities at the same location.

“We are excited to be partners with NSCAA,” said Brent Paulson, FC Pride Soccer Club Administrator. “This tournament is important for showcasing the high school talent in Indiana and Ohio. We look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come.”

The 21-field Lawrence Soccer Complex will play host to numerous elite teams over the two-day tournament. Each team will play three, 80-minute games in round robin fashion in order to showcase their talent for the numerous college coaches from across the nation planning to attend the event. The showcase will also provide the Indianapolis area a brief taste of what is to come in January, as the 2013 NSCAA Convention will be held in Indianapolis Jan. 16-20. “The World’s Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches”, the NSCAA Convention will bring approximately 4,000 coaches and 10,000 total attendees to Indianapolis over a five day period. No other event matches the fun, excitement and learning opportunities this annual gathering offers to soccer coaches at all levels of the game.
