I like the fact that there will possibly be more and closer course sites, but Red Bull will have to sell me on their product. I have taken coaching courses with the NSCAA, one with Brandon DaSilva and the other with Dave Cornish and Steve Wilman, and have been totally satisfied with how they instructed. I would go to them again before going to any Red Bull coach.

RED BULLS ACADEMY GRASSROOTS PROGRAM TO BECOME OFFICIAL PARTNER OF THE NSCAA
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced today a partnership with the Red Bulls Academy. Through the partnership, the Red Bulls Training Programs will operate NSCAA Coaching Academy courses throughout the New York and New Jersey soccer communities.
“The NSCAA is at the forefront of coaching education” David Jervis, Director of Training Programs for the New York Red Bulls Academy said. “This new partnership will provide soccer coaches at all levels with an opportunity to develop their coaching skills at easily accessible community locations.”
The Red Bulls will conduct a series of coaching courses that will be strategically set up in tandem with various local youth soccer partners. Each year, a special topics workshop will also be hosted in conjunction with a Red Bulls home match. Through the new partnership, the Red Bulls aim to broaden their support and development of youth coaches within the grassroots.
“We are proud to partner with the New York Red Bulls Academy and support them in their commitment to improving soccer coaching in their region through the delivery of NSCAA Coaching Academy courses,” said Ralph Polson, NSCAA President. “The Red Bulls Academy has developed extensive programs to develop players, coaches and youth soccer organizations. This partnership is another step in furthering their support of soccer in their region and in fulfilling the NSCAA mission to be the leading organization in the world dedicated to serving the needs of soccer coaches.

Until the USDA rescinds their decision and allow Academy players to play for their high schools I will not be attending any programs associated with NYRB, nor should any other high school coach in New Jersey. Imagine if the New York Giants told high school football stars that they could become psuedo-professionals at 14 and could no longer play for their local schools?! This decision is strictly about money and has little to do with player development. Please don't insult us further by inviting us to attend coaching clinics put on by NYRB. As stated by Mr. Hourcade I will continue to support the NSCAA, but I am disappointed with this partnership.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
