Elite Tournaments is thrilled to announce the addition of T4 Soccer to the already established NSCAA College Showcase Series.
The three-year partnership between Elite Tournaments and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) was designed to stage 12 annual elite showcase events across the country. This will expand Elite Tournaments’ current event market, while further extending the coaching educational opportunities of the NSCAA. The tournaments will be taken to the next level by the addition of T4 Soccer, which is the leading soccer-performance assessment company and web-based score analysis system.
“Having T4 Soccer provide their expertise in performance assessment makes the NSCAA College Showcase Series a unique experience and emphasizes the NSCAA’s commitment to player development,” Matt Libber of Elite Tournaments said.
T4 is the official performance assessment testing partner of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the Super Y-League ODP. The T4 Soccer Ambassador is Tony DiCicco, former US Women’s National Team World Cup Winning Coach, and the spokesperson is Leslie Osborne, former US National Team player with 62 appearances.
In addition to regular showcase matches, players will also be given the opportunity to participate in a supplementary soccer-specific performance assessment combine monitored by T4 Soccer. These assessments are intended to provide scientific data on player athleticism, thus providing a broader perspective on the player’s abilities. This is a unique opportunity provided by the showcase events, allowing college coaches to assess players in games and receive additional physical data on players after the event.
The T4 tests are conducted by an assessment specialist utilizing state-of-the-art electronic measuring equipment and are designed to objectively evaluate a player’s physical soccer performance and are supported by scientific evidence. The testing battery will include a linear sprint, agility and power test. Each test is performed two times with the player’s best score recorded onto the T4 web-based system. The T4 testing protocol and online system establish a player’s baseline for soccer specific performance, help identify physical strengths and weaknesses and monitor ongoing performance and responses to training programs.
Each player and parent will be provided with a complimentary password protected access to the T4 system where they will be able to view their scores. They will also be able to see how their scores compare to the best, average and median scores and obtain their rank with in their age group. It will also determine their rank among the overall combine participants in all age groups. Players will only see their own score results and comparison data, all other names associated with data will not be available.
Mark Shearer, T4 CEO and founder, commented, “we are pleased and honored to be part of the NSCAA and Elite Tournaments Showcase Series. It demonstrates the both organizations believe in the integrity of our performance testing protocol and affirms their commitment to advancing testing in the sport of soccer as a whole. We look forward to participating in the events, helping players evaluate their performance, and providing college coaches with additional performance data soccer on potential recruits.”
The next tournament in the NSCAA College Showcase Series will be taking place, July 27-29, in Tacoma, Wash.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
