American education reformer Horace Mann once stated “a human being is not attaining his full heights until he is educated,” a thought the National Soccer Coaches Association of America takes to heart as an organization.

Education is one of the cornerstones of the NSCAA, as we seek to provide our members with ways to participate in our learning opportunities and take the game to a new level through great coaching. One of those ways is to bring coaching education to your community.

When you host an NSCAA non-residential course, you can provide education, support and professional growth for your colleagues in your region or local community.

The process is simple and benefits you as the site coordinator.
  • Contact your NSCAA State Director or Regional Director to help determine which course(s) would be best for your area. You can also contact the Education Department at the NSCAA National Office for additional information.
  • Secure an appropriate location for the course you’d like to host. Your State/Regional Director can help you with specifics, however you should plan having  at least a classroom space and field space.
  • Now it’s time to tell everyone about your course. If you’re weary about how to promote, no worries as we’ve taken care of that for you. Visit the NSCAA’s Course Marketing Toolkit to download promotional materials. For additional promotion help or questions, contact 913-362-1747.

Hosting a course is a cost-effective and convenient way for your team, club or community to improve coaching skills, as well as keep traveling costs down. Additionally, there is the potential to receive compensation and access course curriculum as a
site coordinator.

If you are interested in bringing a unique education opportunity to your site, visit the Host a Course page for detailed information as well as the type of courses you can host.
