Symbolizing the nearing of a new season, the NSCAA and Continental Tire have released the 2012 College Preseason Rankings for all three levels of the NCAA and the two levels of Junior College.
On the men's NCAA Division I poll, reigning men's national champion North Carolina sits in the top spot after finishing 21-2-3 overall in 2011.
Stanford leads the charge in the preseason poll on the women's NCAA Division I side. The national champion finished 2011 unbeaten with a 25-0-1 record.
The first ranking of the 2012 women's regular season will be released August 21, followed by the men's first ranking of the season on August 28.
In the NCAA Division II ranking, reigning national champion Fort Lewis takes the No. 1 spot, following a 24-1-0 record along with its NCAA Division II Men's Soccer title.
On the women's side, Saint Rose take the top spot. The NCAA Division II national champions finished the 2011 season at 23-1-1.
In the NCAA Division III rankings, the national champions for both the men and women each lead the rankings. Ohio Wesleyan finished 2011 with a 23-2-0 overall, while Messiah went unbeaten in 2011 with a 23-0-1 mark.
The same trend continues into the Junior College divisions with national champions leading the preseason polls. In Division I, the Cloud County Community College (Kan.) men and the Tyler Junior College women each lead the pack, while the Mount San Antonio College men and the Montogmery College-Rockville women lead Division III.
The first rankings for the other two NCAA Divisions, both Junior College divisions and the NAIA will be released September 4.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
