The eighth season of the NSCAA College Game of the Week on FOX Soccer commences on Saturday, Aug. 18 with coverage of the Indiana men and Chivas de Guadalajara friendly, with coverage starting at 7 p.m. ET.
This game has a uniqueness to it, as it is a part of the ShindigZ National Soccer Festival in Fort Wayne, Ind. Additionally, Chivas de Guadalajara will be the first professional team guest competing at the festival.
The Hoosiers are starting the season ranked No. 12 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire preseason poll. The team’s exhibition game against Illinois-Chicago ended with a 1-1 draw. Down a goal, reserve Kyle Sparks tied the game at the 72nd minute, and goalkeepers senior Luis Soffner and redshirt freshman Sean Weidman each tallied time in the box.
Along with Sparks, Soffner, and Weidman, returners include senior midfielder Aris Zafeiratos, senior goalkeeper Nate Mitchell, and junior midfielders Nikita Kotlov and AJ Corrado.
Another returner, sophomore forward Eriq Zavaleta, ended last season as the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and starts this season named to the 2012 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.
To get ready for tomorrow’s game, fans can check out “NSCAA College Game of the Week: A Look Back,” on tonight at 7 p.m. ET and again Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX Soccer. This broadcast, which originally premiered August 6, is a special feature on the past seven years of this annual showcase.
The NSCAA College Game of the Week, college awards and rankings are just some of the benefits provided to NSCAA members through College Services.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
