Goalkeeper Madison Hardwick and midfielder Tanner Giles-Tucker have been honored as NSCAA High School Players of the Week for their success on the pitch last week.
Hardwick, a senior from Zanesville High School (Ohio), added three straight shutouts to her credit last week. She also managed to add 13 saves between the three contests. Madison and the Zanesville girls soccer team are led by Todd Riley.
Giles-Tucker of James Hubert Blake High School, had a standout week in his team’s 3-2 overtime win, playing a part in all three goals.
He scored two goals, the first a header on a cross and the other beating a defender one-on-one. Finally, he found teammate Jason Mayorga who then scored the winning goal in sudden death. Tanner and the Blake High boys soccer team are coached by David Edlow.
The NSCAA High School Player of the Week program is designed to highlight the future stars of the game. Anyone can nominate a player, however only players whose coach is a current NSCAA member are eligible for selection. Honorees will be announced on Wednesdays.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
