Korrio to offer expert assessment of automation for clubs to raise standards for coach and player development
Korrio (korrio.com), developer of a cloud-based service for organizing and sharing youth sports, has been selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as an official commercial partner in their NSCAA Club Standards Project. Korrio’s experience in providing automation tools to streamline club administration functions through technology uniquely qualifies them to serve in this important role for the NSCAA Club Standards Project.
The Club Standards Project is an evaluative process, designed to raise the standards and expectations for coach and player development for more than 10,000 U.S. clubs and many more abroad. As a proponent of maximizing youth soccer development, Korrio is pleased to partner with the NSCAA on the Club Standards Project and will offer extensive automation workflow assessment to clubs of all sizes.
“I think automation is key to the success of every club at every level, which is why we are delighted to partner with Korrio in our Club Standards Project,” Joe Cummings, NSCAA CEO, said. “The Club Standards Project is an integral program in the NSCAA’s mission to provide education to the soccer community and in turn, raise the standard of play. We are confident that Korrio’s expert analysis will help clubs focus more time on player development and coaching, not administrative tasks.”
Korrio integrates web, mobile and social networking to provide coaches, administrators, parents and players with a comprehensive and easy-to-use online home. Each user has a customized view into their team and club, and receives real-time updates on important schedule, location and event details. The platform also streamlines and automates essential administrative tasks, such as registration, payment processing, roster creation, game/practice scheduling and web hosting.
“Our goal is to share and disseminate best practices for all clubs. Automation workflow is something we look at holistically and how it impacts the business success of a soccer club. Our team has decades of experience in business, technology and sports,” said Korrio Founder and CEO Steve Goldman. “We are constantly seeking new ways to apply modern technology to sports, raising the performance standards at every level.”
Korrio’s role in the NSCAA Club Standards Project is to offer clubs three levels of service:
Preliminary level: Korrio provides the participating club with a "Club Operations Best Practices" guide and a "Why Brand Matters" guide.
Intermediate level: Clubs can take an online Club Operations Assessment survey followed by a phone/online interview that assesses the club’s administration and operational effectiveness and efficiency. The club will then receive a Club Operations Assessment Report highlighting areas for improvement.
Advanced Level: Korrio provides the participating club with an online Club Operations Assessment survey followed by an in-depth interview via phone/online or in person, that assesses the club’s administration and operational effectiveness and efficiency. The club will receive a final Club Operations Assessment Report and an official score in both the five individual categories and overall. Additionally, a Korrio consultant will perform a brief interview to discuss the report and scores.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
