The NSCAA College Games of the Week, presented on FOX Soccer, features three games Thursday and Friday: the women of BYU and Texas, a historic first-time meeting between the women of No. 14 Texas A&M and No. 16 Long Beach State, and a streak-jeopardizing match between the men of No. 4 Connecticut and No. 24 Washington.

These three games will also showcase three MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List players in BYU Lindsi Lisonbee Cutshall, Texas A&M Kelly Monogue and UConn’s Carlos Alvarez.

BYU vs. Texas – Thursday, Sept. 6 at 9 p.m. ET

The Cougars and Lady Longhorns have met a handful of times in their programs’ histories, three of which were regular season match-ups all resulting in Texas wins.

Led by head coach Jennifer Rockwood, BYU is 4-1-0 overall heading into Thursday’s game, riding a recent 2-0 win against Colorado College on Sept. 1. In addition to Cutshall, BYU will rely on junior goalkeeper Erica Owens to lead the defense, while the offense will be led by senior Jessica Ringwood and sophomore Jaiden Thornock.

The Longhorns, led by head coach Angela Kelly, bring with them sophomore goalkeeper Ava Vogel, who had her first shutout in August against Toledo and is tied for sixth in the Big 12 in saves (16) and saves per game (2.67). Also coming along is senior midfielder Kristin Cummins, who leads the Texas boards in points per game (1.33) and goals per game (0.50), and tied with senior forward Hannah Higgins in assists (2) and assists per game (0.33). Texas adds depth with sophomores Sharis Lachappelle and Allison Smith, and freshman Lindsey Meyer.

Texas A&M vs. Long Beach State – Friday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. ET (Tape Delay)

The contest pitting Texas A&M and Long Beach State will be the first time these two teams have met.

The Aggies are in the midst of a five-game homestand when they host the 49ers on Friday night. Texas A&M is 4-1-0 overall after a home win against St. Mary’s (Calif.) this past Sunday. Head coach G Guerrieri's Texas A&M team returns all eight starters to the lineup and 19 letterwinners from 2011. In addition to Monogue, back this year are senior Lindsay Witz, junior Rachel Lenz, sophomore Allie Bailey and sophomore goalkeeper Jordan Day.

The 49ers of Long Beach State will be on national television for the first time since the NSCAA Game of the Week against Cal State Fullerton in 2006. The 49ers are coming off a 2-1 win over Michigan last Sunday, marking head coach Mauricio Ingrassia’s 100th career win.

Forward Nadia Link, who earned NSCAA third-team All-America and first-team All-West region honors last season, returns this year to lead the LBSU offense.

Connecticut v. Washington – Friday, Sept 7 at 7 p.m. ET

The teams in this men’s contest share a mascot name and unbeaten records, as UConn is 4-0-1 after a 1-0 win over Michigan State and Washington is 3-0-1 after a 1-1 draw with CSU Bakersfield.

Favored to win the BIG EAST's Blue Division, Connecticut carries a two-season undefeated streak at Monroe Stadium that will be on the line this Friday night under 16th-year head coach Ray Reid.

Projected to start for UConn are Alverez, senior defender Max Wasserman, senior defender Jossimar Sanchez, junior forward Mamadou Diouf, junior defender Michael Mercado, and sophomore goalkeeper Andre Blake. Alvarez, Diouf, Sanchez, and Blake were named Soccer America Preseason All-Americans and to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.

In his arsenal of players, Washington head coach Jamie Clark has senior defender and team captain Dylan Tucker-Gangnes and junior goalkeeper Spencer Richey anchoring the backfield. Attacking, Washington will rely on Tucker-Gangnes (who doubles as a midfielder) and sophomore midfielder Bradley McIntosh.
